The Eva Troncoso - Wonder Thread Guide Story

If you ask Eva Troncoso about her Patented Wonder Thread Guide and about her rise to fame as a Professional Archer, she will probably say that winning and challenge have always been an important part of her life and marriage.

Following her marriage in 1955 to Freddie, an archery accessory inventor,  Eva suddenly found herself walking and practicing on several So. California archery ranges where she acquired her skills and prowess with the bow and arrow. Eva quickly showed that she was definitely championship caliber and thus, proceeded to make her impressive mark in archery and shooting. Shortly thereafter, Eva became the top overall Women's Professional Champion three times and also was crowned Women's Professional Indoor Champion four times. For all of her achievements in archery, she was awarded the Bi-Centennial Sports award for Archery during 1981. During those formative years, Eva would sew for herself and for our entire family for fun and relaxation. Let us read what Eva has to say about her role and part in the development of the Wonder Thread Guide. (F.T.)

I was introduced to sewing by both my grandmother and dear mother - whom were accomplished sewers and seamstresses in their own rights. During 1996, I was tempted and compelled to purchase a Pfaff 7570 sewing/embroidery machine which introduced me to digitizing through the marvel of robotics. It did not take long for me to become aware of the despairing thread tangling and twisting that occurred when using those attractive slippery rayon and metallic threads. I quickly learned that it was necessary to physically sit by my machine for the purpose of stopping and re-threading my machine each and every time the thread broke or was shredded using these slippery but beautiful threads.

After repeatedly complaining about thread breakage to my husband for several years, I finally convinced him to listen to me regarding my quest for finding a solution to this age old problem. Together, and through the grace of God, we evolved with our Wonder Thread Guide and proceeded to patent and market our novel invention.

I sincerely recommend the Wonder Thread Guide to all sewing embroidery enthusiasts who are searching for a positive solution which ends all tangling and twisting thread problems -  forever!
